Celtic Parents & Little Ones (ages1-2)
45 minutes- 10 Week Increments. This is where it all begins! These classes for parents and little ones are a fun way to begin learning the basic principles of the various types of Celtic music, song, and dance. We use structured play to engage children in the world of dance and harness their natural desire to put on a show. Parents, bring your 1–2-year-olds out and stimulate their minds with Celtic music and movement. ECEA certified instructor.
Celtic Tots (ages 3-5)
60 minutes – A class that allows 3 to 5 year olds to explore creative movement while being introduced to the basic positions and steps of Celtic dance while becoming accustomed to the instructor-led classroom dynamic. This class focuses on improving motor skills and rhythm through a variety of exercises, games, and sing-a-longs, historical storytelling circle time. Students will learn choreography and will be given many opportunities to perform in the community. Celtic Tots runs all season long.
Celtic Primary (ages 5-7)
60 minutes - This class is designed to introduce children ages 5-7 to the fundamentals of Celtic dance. Dancers will learn basic positions, steps, and dances while having fun and exploring their creativity. Learning and growing through play is at the core of this class! Students will begin to learn about Celtic culture and the history. Students will learn choreography and will be given many opportunities to perform in the community and at the year end show - at the Port Theatre.
Celtic Beginners (ages 7-9)

60 minutes - This class was created to introduce and build on students’ knowledge of the fundamentals of Celtic dance. Basic positions, steps, and dances will be explored. Students will begin to learn about the Celtic culture and its history. Students will learn choreography and will be given many opportunities to perform in the community and at the year-end show - at the Port Theatre.
Celtic Competative (ages 6-8)

This class is designed for students headed to competition and festival. Please advise instructors prior to registration in this class.
Celtic Cèilidh (Adults)
This is a high energy dance class for adults with minimal or only basic highland or Irish dance experience. This class focuses on fun and fitness! Dancers will learn the basics of technique, musicality and skills for Celtic Dance. Intro to soft shoe and hard shoe steps.
